Hours slept last night. I sleep better when they’re home. Sigh.
Sounds like a wonderful break. My family also has a tradition of visiting the zoo during the Thanksgiving holiday. We usually spend the holiday in Orange Beach, AL so we go to the Alabama Gulf Shores Zoo. It was featured on Animal Planet as “The Little Zoo That Could.” This was the first year my granddaughter–who is 3–went with us. It was a treat to see everything through her eyes and I captured a delightful picture of her sitting on her daddy’s shoulders and howling at the wolves. It was a great day.
