The local symphony I play in has three concerts a year, the weekend of Halloween, weekend of Feb. 9-12, and last weekend of April or first of May, so we hold over the music we’ve been practicing since November (over the college breaks) and then start with new music mid-February, to give us hope that spring will come!

I would really appreciate that plan — I’d love to have time during the break to work on the music before returning to group rehearsals.

That looks kind of fun…interesting use of time signatures there, throwing off the “Oompa-oompa” expectation of a march!
