I love most of Kingsolver’s novels, but not Prodigal Summer. It’s the worst of the novels in which she indulges her didacticism instead of telling a story.
I’ve been reading along with some of the Sci Fri book club events, and this is slated for early next year. How regrettable that my first Kingsolver may not be a good one (because I do value your reviews).
