It takes a few minutes for me to stop looking for placards and notes of explanation, but when I do, I walk through it as if I were a “guest,” and it awes me.
In the five years since I last visited, though, it has become one of those places where many more people are there specifically to produce social media content, and that can take me out of a moment.
